** Featured Guest Artist ** – Lucille Scott

Located in Glaslyn at 141 Railway Ave.

A self-taught aboriginal artist, Lucille has a unique spin on her art, preferring to explore the challenges of painting on nature’s natural surfaces, such as rocks, leaves and specializing in feathers. In 2006, her passion took flight, producing intricate wildlife portraits and scenes. Using goose feathers, Lucille applies a coat of acrylic paint to bond the feather’s fragile structure, hence creating a firm surface to paint a scene. Then the finished feather is framed in an authentic barn wood frame. The finished framed art is an excellent conversation piece and a beautiful work of art.
